All work and no play makes Jane a dull person

A friend had in concern mentioned this to me. She planned a trip and together with another friend, we went to Golden Palm Resort in Sepang, Malaysia.

Worth it! It was all about pampering the self. Pampering self with self time, catching up on hunger games the book and just taking things slow. Hearing the waves, and being so close to nature, simply lovely!

Hunger Games is really an amazing story. I am smitten with the genius of the author.
The human interaction, the vulnerability and the emotions are strong and I appreciate it.

The loved ones are being harrassed to read The Hunger Games as well.

Amazing!

 

Powerful Thoughts

2013 has 24 more days to go.
It feels like it just started.

This year has challenged me and has competed with its predecessor to keep me on my toes.
Thankful for all the opportunities and the good people who surround me.

No man is an island, truly!

September Challenges

This is the 7th day of the month. I am feeling highly hopeful.
I have two opportunities to present and am driven to make it my best as yet.

Now, is time to challenge my self to do my best. I am glad for challenges, hurdles and everything that makes me feel further from success. I will work towards it all with conviction to succeed.

I jogged (in the name of a healthy regime) for a day
I presented (for work-volunteered myself) with areas for improvement, but I was not hard on myself
I mingled with the youngsters (an occassion of recognising educational excellence) & love children
I started a secret correspondence (with a really fun lady)
I met 3 awesome people (Yin Hui Lee) from previous life!
I realised that I could have been best (but I settled for second to it) knowing time will do its magic!
I fell sick - took a record number of day off.
I missed first day of school, and am anxious about doing well for this semester with record number of assignments.
I Maced twice - Sheeg and Vidb
